SAVE THE DATE: WADE-SELENA JONES FAMILY REUNION 2025
We are excited to announce the 2025 Wade-Selena Jones Family Reunion dates. This year’s reunion will be held on the beautiful American Beach/Amelia Island, Florida, with activities in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
Mark your calendars for July 10th to July 13th, 2025, and start making your travel plans now! We can’t wait to see everyone and create more cherished family memories.
July 10th (Thursday):* Pre-Reunion Activities at The Double Tree Hotel – Jacksonville Airport Location
3pm – 7pm – Early arrival Pre-Registration/Pickup Package
4pm – Pool Party – Join us by the Pool
7:30pm – Celebrate Garry Jones’s 70th birthday “Given by” his children. Connect with family over food, fun, and a Margarita Happy Hour. (Boots on the ground Western wear/bring your fans!)
July 11th (Friday): The Jones Family Reunion Official Kickoff Meet and Greet American Beach Community Center, Amelia Island 1600 Julia St., Amelia Island, FL 32034 ( All Day Fun On Land and Sea: Beach Day – Bring your beach towels, chairs/extra chairs, and gear )
11:30 am (Registration/Pickup Package) Old-fashioned Fish Fry (Land & Vegan Food Options) Lunch will be served starting at 1:00 PM
Themed Throwback Friday: Wear a previous year’s family reunion t-shirt, for a chance to win a prize. Enjoy food, music, family and game.
4-5pm – Business Network presentation opportunities for the family: Share your business with the family/setup your table (must bring your own table, to sell your items on the outdoor wrap around of the community center or share your business between 4-5pm.(Inside the center 5-10 minutes to present). *During your day on the beach take time to explore on premise historical museum, ($10 fee) learn your history. Visit the historical fort at Fort Clinch Park (5mins away) where Harriet Tubman once served. Visit downtown Fernandina.*
5pm – Low Country Boil – Music, fun and Boots on the ground line dancing class “Where dem fans at?” – Bring your fans!.
July 12th (Saturday) – The Family “Bar-be-Que Get-together”- Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center
(Fernandina Beach) 1200 Elm Street, Fernandina Beach, FL, 32034 .
11:00 am-4pm– The Center features a large outdoor Pavilion, Playground, Baseball Diamond, Horseshoe area, Swimming pool & Kiddie Pool (bring your swimwear/towels) *$5 Entry Fee/life guard on duty*. Center has an indoor A/C auditorium. There will be outdoor/indoor family games and family videos playing. Be ready for the famous South vs North Volleyball Game
7pm–Jones Family “Ocean Breeze Extravaganza” Banquet – DoubleTree Hotel, Airport- Jacksonville, Fl. Food, Music, Video, Karaoke, and the “JONES FASHION SHOW STROLL”. ATTIRE: Classy Colorful Coastal Wear. Banquet concludes with the family meeting.
July 13th (Sunday – Family Church Service) A Family That Prays Together Stays Together
10am – Family Church – Bethel AME – 45133 Page St, Callahan, FL, 32011
Our reunion closes with a heartfelt Prayer & Church Service.
Refreshments will be served after service (Church Hall). Travel mercies and bid Farwell until our next reunion 2027.
Family Reunion Fee’s ($125 for Ages 13-79 years old, $75 for Ages 11-12 years old, $50 Ages 5 – 10, $0 Ages 4 and under , $0 Ages 80 and older )
*If you plan on attending only 1 or 2 events the cost is – (Friday – $35pp) Fish Fry/Low Country Boil – (Saturday – $35pp) Family Cookout – ( $55pp – Saturday Night Banquet)*
**Walk-up/at the door registration will be “Cash Only or Cash App”. No exceptions.**
